
FIAE is the International Federation of Business Associations. The Founding Act was signed on 4 June 2010 in Arcos de Valdevez (Portugal).
The organizations are promoting FIAE Club des Entreprises de Mérignac (Gironde / France), the Conselho Empresarial dos Vales Minho e Lima (Viana do Castelo / Portugal) and the Association of Employers of Alt Penedès, Baix Penedès and Garraf (Penedès-Garraf / Catalonia).
The objectives of the Federation are the creation of an international network of business organizations that have areas of action local, regional or regional progress and prioritize its surrounding area from the growth and consolidation of their respective companies tissues.
FIAE network works as a prime objective to promote the internationalization of SMEs, with information programs, counseling, and coaching relationship.
Business organizations participate in the Federation pooled available resources to promote and stimulate contacts and trade relations between their respective member companies.
Euroforum, the annual meeting
Business organizations linked to FIAE held every year an annual rate of congress, the Euroforum.
The first edition was held in the Euroforum Mérignac (France) in November 2009. The Euroforum 2010 took place in Viana do Castelo (Portugal) the first week of June. The third edition of the Euroforum take place in the wider Penedès (Catalonia), 26, 27 and 28 April 2012.
The annual meeting is the exchange of experiences and practices by business organizations and serves to monitor the programs carried out jointly. In addition, new projects are proposed or agree to partnership and complementarity in areas such as innovation and research, new technologies, the environment, the university or the promotion of tourism, among others.
Forum gastronomic

From 26 to 28 May 2011, Viana do Castelo (Portugal), held the first edition of Gourmet FIAE Meeting. The coincidence of three regions of extraordinary wine and gastronomy (Penedes, Bordeaux and northern Portugal) is the best excuse for the joint promotion of tourist and gastronomic attractions and assets of the respective geographical areas.
It is a gathering of Congressional nature that aims to exchange knowledge about wine and food culture by the environments of business organizations FIAE members. The value of special purpose puts greater emphasis on raw materials and local products, in line with the concept away. 0 ".
Each of the associations promotes the participation of chefs from the respective region, as well as students from area restaurants. In addition, it seeks the involvement of companies in the food industry wishing to promote their products. The Forum program includes lectures, workshops, demonstrations, and as a finale, a dinner prepared by chefs and students from different regions represented.
The second edition of this gastronomic forum will be held in Bordeaux (Aquitaine), coinciding with the harvest of 2012.
