La dinamització econòmica a l'agenda
En el context econòmic i polític actual hi ha dos vectors que han de formar part del discurs: la crisi econòmica per una banda i la futura onada electoral. Si volem teixir aquests dos fils argumetals els podem lligar en una expressió: la política de dinamització econòmica (canvieu-ne el nom pel que us faci sentir més còmodes). Després d'haver reaccionat tard i malament al retrocés econòmic, aplicant només cures paliatives, el moment demana una altra visió de la política, una que realment serveixi per a crear riquesa. Per això cal posar l'accent en una política de dinamització econòmica veritablement seriosa i global, vertical en els estrats de l'administració (i agents socials!) i transversal en les àrees d'actuació. Aquesta política ha de ser, a més, capaç de treballar a dos ritmes. D'una banda ha de poder treballar aspectes tàctics de resultats a curt termini. Però, al mateix temps, ha de comptar amb la visió, i a vegades la generositat, que demanen les actuacions estratègiques, imprescindibles però de resultats diferits. Podem parlar del que s'ha fet, però serà millor parlar del que cal fer. El més important és que aquest concepte recuperi l'espai que li correspon a l'agenda política i mediàtica, un espai que darrerament ha cedit a d'altres qüestions, a vegades rellevants, però sovint estèrils. L'onada electoral que s'acosta hauria de fer-li un lloc en el discurs i en els programes. | DEFINITION |
| La Asociación de Empresarios del Alt Penedès, el Baix Penedès y el Garraf is a business organisation based on associations, with an assembly of members and free affiliation which aims to represent the inter-regional needs of the business sector in this area. The Association is independent, multisectorial and plural. |
| MISSION |
ADEG is an organisation committed to its social and economic environment with the philosophy of prioritising progress in the area which will be beneficial to the community as a whole, associations working together and guarantee the future of activities developed in this area. |
| OBJECTIVE |
ADEG has as its fundamental aim, the promotion and development of economic activity and the business network in the area. With the continual development of new services and advantages the Association works to bring about the modernisation, incorporation of information and free trade for the affiliated businesses and improve the commercial network in Penedès and Garraf. |
TERRITORY |
ADEG operates in the regions of Alt Penedès, Baix Penedès and Garraf. It has therefore, affiliated companies from the different municipalities in these regions. |

Regarding economic activities, ADEG is a multisectorial organisation which brings together businesses involved in manufacturing, sales, construction, service industries and other primary activities. |
COMPANY CATEGORIES |
Small, medium-sized and large businesses can all be found within ADEG, and together we have been able to consolidate an independent platform to defend and represent businesses in Garraf, Alt Penedès and Baix Penedès. |

FOUNDATION |
ADEG, the Association for Businesses in Garraf was founded in1987. The first statutes were drawn up on 6 February 1988. |
CENTRAL OFFICES |
ADEG has its central offices in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Garraf) and from the end of 2006, in Vilafranca del Penedès (Alt Penedès). Apart from the normal office management areas, both centres have meeting rooms and training rooms at the disposition of associated companies. |
